OPEN VPN ca.crt file expired

OPEN VPN Certificate Expired / Expiration

The OPEN VPN ca.crt file expired today so all OPEN VPN systems will require an updated ca.crt 

  • Download the ca.crt file 
  • Place it in the OpenVPN Config folder, typically here: C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config (unless they are not on the 64-bit version).  if not find the OPENVPN folder and CONFIG folder containing the ca.crt
  • Stop and Start OpenVPN. It should reconnect without any issues.
