How to Submit a Ticket to our Support Team


Instructions for submitting support requests to our Customer Response Team

We would like to provide you and your team with some basic instructions that will help us better serve you when making requests of our Customer Response Team.

When submitting a support ticket, please make sure to include the version information of the product you are using. This information is vital in understanding the context of your issue and can usually be found by navigating to the "Help" menu and selecting the "About" section within the application.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the process:
  1. Locate Version Information:
    1. Open the application.
    2. Click on the "Help" menu.
    3. Select the "About" option.
    4. Note down the version number displayed.
  2. Detail Steps to Replicate the Issue:
    1. Clearly describe the problem you are facing.
    2. Include the actions you took leading up to the issue.
    3. Mention any error messages or unusual behavior.
  3. Take any relevant screenshots for attachment, when possible.
  4. Submit the Support Ticket:  Visit our support portal at https://support.microkey.com .
    1. Log in to your account.
      1. If you do not have an account, please reach out to your Project Manager or contact our support team.
    2. Click on "Submit a Support Ticket."
    3. Fill in the required fields:
      1. Subject should look like "YOUR COMPANY NAME - Issue/Question."
      2. Micro Key Version
      3. Steps to replicate the issue.
        1. This should include the exact form and fields as well as how you got to that location.
    4. Click "Submit."
By providing the version information and a clear outline of the steps to replicate the issue, you enable our support team to quickly identify and resolve the problem.
Please do not reply to ticket emails, they do not update your ticket and may not make it to the person managing your tickets.  Please log into the Support portal to review and update tickets.
